Line drawings and photos of female nude figures with the text 'JAMES.' underneath.

A brand identity I created for JAMES, established in April 2020 by Mason Magouyrk. Named after her grandfather, James McLain, JAMES was created out of love for vintage finds. Over time, JAMES has evolved into a curated selection of pieces for the home.

I wanted to create a visual language that encapsulates JAMES. Something painterly, unique and handmade that echoes each limited piece. I opted for a textural feel that can be applied to each illustration. Organic forms and shapes that showcase the pieces that Mason lovingly thrifts and sources.
